Asiaweek Magazine
Asiaweek has been the preferred news magazine for most parts of Asia for over 25 years. But its owner AOL Time Warner decided to shut it down in late 2001 citing plummeting regional advertising revenue and September 11 as reasons. Alejandro Reyes, a former Asiaweek staffer, shed some light on what happened to the magazine in Asia, Inc. (February 2002 issue) in a story entitled "Epitaph for a Magazine."
